Meet Linda Ansah

When Andrea first met 5-year old Linda at the hospital, she was scooting on her buttocks instead of walking. A high fever when she was 1 1/2 years old stiffened one side of Linda's body. With toes on her left foot pointing down, she could not place her foot flat on the ground. Linda's father left the family when he realized that she was disabled. Her mother, who does not have a permanent job, works only at harvest time.

To correct her foot alignment, Andrea cast Linda's foot for about a month. Now Linda can place her foot flat down. Today she is walking and running around like any typical 5-year old.

For the last 6 months Linda has been attending school. Her mother now sees a positive future for her daughter because of your support. This is one way you have made a difference in someone's life.
